Everyone has a connection with architecture. The structures we live in, shop in, learn in and work in hold our memories,
good and bad, and over time we can look back and see our life experiences in these buildings.
The cities we navigate have landmark buildings and everyday shops we pass by so regularly that we hardly see them.
Los Angeles is my greatest muse.
The architecture here tells the story of this city like layers of time. One block can have so much to say.
I'm really attracted to small businesses, color, hand painted and unique signs,
details in design from decades ago... to name only a few things.
I love looking at places and wondering about them. I want people to leave things alone.
But, life goes on and buildings come down.
That is why I do this series.
To hold on to the history and places of this amazing city.
